The visualization and collaborative environments division of RENCI is an amalgam of eight sites in North Carolina implemented as one coherent, seamlessly operating visualization and collaboration environment. RENCI’s visualization staff and their partners use these facilities to create visualizations that provide insight and knowledge about large data sets and to collaborate remotely with colleagues on other campuses and from many disciplines.
